This Fortune 25 Banking Client’s real estate portfolio included of a large portion of HVAC assets that had surpassed estimated useful life (EUL) and were leading to expensive emergency repairs. Given the scale of the aging infrastructure and the competition for internal capital and resources, the client engaged Redaptive to address its aging assets.
Redaptive provided the capital and resources to rapidly execute the HVAC optimization program for this client without impacting the day-to-day operations of its retail bank facilities. Redaptive also mitigated client cost exposure to the R-22 refrigerant ban by eliminating R-22 from the addressed sites.
The Redaptive program resulted in approximately $17M gross savings over the 10-year project term. The HVAC optimization program will avoid 7,900 metric tons of CO2 emissions over the service term, the equivalent to removing 18,000 barrels of oil avoided or the emissions from 1,000 homes.
