Energy Efficiency Upgrades Lead To Lower Emissions And Enhanced Work Environment

The Challenge

Over the past 3 years, McKesson has been working with Redaptive to help capture energy savings and achieve its green energy goals. With competing resources for internal capital, it is challenging for McKesson to prioritize ESG initiatives. Redaptive was able to analyze specific sites in McKesson’s portfolio to develop an energy optimization strategy.

The Solution

Redaptive developed a comprehensive plan to upgrade key facilities across McKesson’s portfolio. Redaptive fully-funded, and executed, an energy efficient LED lighting program across 28 sites spanning 6.5 million sq/ft, driving energy savings, while navigating McKesson’s critical operations.

The Impact

The Redaptive program resulted in a significant reduction in lighting costs. The reduced electricity consumption will avoid 4,800 metric tons of CO₂ emissions over the service term, the equivalent to removing 11,000 barrels of oil avoided or the emissions from 575 homes.
